SOMETHING I LOOK AT-156 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY IN MEMORY OF THE LEGEND, THE MASTER WHO GROOMED US, SCHOOLED US AND MADE US WHAT WE ARE A few drop of tears, a handful of flowers at his lotus feet on the occasion of his first Sradha ceremony. A TREASURE (In memory of Rahas Sir) Smruti Ranjan Mohanty They say You are no more How can it be? When we are alive Your heart and soul The students you groomed over the years How can you die? When alive your love and touch Thoughts and concern The values for which u stand for Teachers never die They transcend time And guide millions. Even after the great departure They live in the heart of their students In their ambitions and accomplishments Happiness and sorrows Agonies and ecstasies Smiles and tears Enjoying and enduring their moments and Guiding them to perfection. It is not your eyes and ears That see and listen to him It is the heart that sees and listens. The mind that connects The soul that reciprocates If you are in tune with him. He continues to guide and Shower his unconditional love and blessings If you deserve it and Know how to connect. He speaks, listens and teaches Even after leaving his body. You are deprived of these Coz you don't need it. If you want to feel him Go to Alanahat High School His Karmabhumi Where he still lives You will find his hands right on your shoulder His blessings touching you Like fresh morning dew His voice resonating In every nook and corner Sir You are not an ordinary teacher You are a teacher of teachers Guided many to their destination. Whoever listened to you Is now someone somewhere How can you die, sir When your students Your sons and daughters by culture Are still alive Through whom you breathe life And live your death. Sir Bless us We are still struggling With the mathematics of life The science of conflicting priorities The contradictions and predicaments Caught in between happiness and sorrow Accomplishments and failures We are just nowhere Please help us to solve the last sum Be in us We are in the boisterous sea Who will bring us ashore If you the able navigator Will not be with us any more. Sir You are in us You will be In the temples, you built over the years Till we are here You have gone beyond life and death You are pure consciousness A beautiful feeling A treasure We love and adore.
