[total responsibility] Setbacks in life shouldn't be despised; setbacks deserve to be appreciated. There are millions of people going through their rock bottoms right now. And there are millions who are going through their second, third or umpteenth rock bottom right now as I type this. Many of them are broken beyond repair but they are still doing their best to heal. I have deep respect for such people.

One thing I've learnt from cricket and life is that you'll fall down at some point(s) in your life. It doesn't matter how successful you are, it doesn't matter how hard you work, it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, and it doesn't matter if your intentions were good. Even the perfect swimmer can drown in a bad day, the perfect rider can crash into a disaster, the perfect batsman can get out on a duck, and the self-made man can be brought down to his knees by life. As a batsman I myself have been part of some low score disasters. If such situations repeat miserably; we tend to get depressed.

In such heartbreaking chaos it's pretty easy to lose direction in life. It's easy to feel the lack of self-worth hurting our self-esteem. No one likes to hit bottom but maybe it's less scary if you take it one day at a time. One moment at a time, in fact. At any given moment, if you take full responsibility and do your best with what you have; you'll surely come out like a peaceful warrior. Thinking of the spider from yesterday– it's like someone destroyed your web and you slowly but surely remade the home for yourself. See, total responsibility.

Just want to say that getting out of rock bottom isn't going to happen without a fourteen-letter word— responsibility. See, the word itself is fourteen letters. So stay persistent every moment and take responsibility of your actions and maybe you'll find yourself in a better place in fourteen days.
