We often have the same emotions and experiences; because we are all human beings, plodding along this earthly realm. Hence, we often mimic others; because we think they're so cool or that what they do is so lit. Yet, as it's often proclaimed that we ought to respect others, we're also required to give them credit for things that're theirs.

I often see plagiarized writings and blatant disregard of the authors who first wrote them. That, alone, is a hefty insult to the time and genius spent in order to makes such oeuvres.

We, writers, do need to learn the art of originality; because copying others word-for-eetsy-beetsy-word is a blatant maligning of ourselves and the ones who read us.

They say, "Imitation is the best form of flattery". But, be careful of how that may elevate to audaciously taking someone else's work and declaring it as our own. For, such is the highest slander that we can ever give ourselves and the ones who thought of such write-ups, in the first place.

Better yet, write something that's filled up with an original arrangement of words! "Plagiarism"

This isn't a poetic rapture. This is a protest!
