Good morning, writers! 😊 "A self that goes on changing is a self that goes on living." - Virginia Woolf Did you know? 🌼 In January 2019, Delhi's Zorawar auditorium reverberated with applause as IAS officer Arti Dogra, just about 3.5 feet tall, confidently climbed up the podium to accept her award from the President - a recognition her stellar performance as Ajmer's District Election Officer during the assembly polls. Arti, who hails from Dehradun, took it upon herself to encourage the differently-abled people of the district to take part in the elections. From arranging vehicles - 'Divyang Raths' - in all the assembly consituencies in the district, to arranging 874 wheel chairs, she worked tirelessly to ensure the election process was accessible in the truest sense. And her effort paid off. A record 17,000 differently-abled voters came to their respective booths to cast their vote!
