dear desert wind swirling your way across my face

dear desert wind
swirling your way across my face
do borrow my voice on your thousand walk
not for the birds nor the eggs
not for the trees nor the seeds
but for my beloved
       tell her
oh tell her
tell her the blanket lost its warmth
the memories are no more fresh
her absence resents comfort
      on your return
dwell a nigh by her
snatch me her smell
wrapped in her crescent like smile
for that once mirrored our souls. #poems
