There were 20 of us selected in the 1st round out of 564 students (though there used to be more 4 rounds like this). We all were given chest numbers like 1 to 20. I remember I was chest no 4. The instructing officer addressed us and he said, "here you maybe from different backgrounds, from different regions, maybe sons of great personalities, officers, doctors etc but here as of now for these 5 days of ur interview, for us 'you are just a chest no.' and 'in the army with uniform you are just a cadet.' "
