Whenever I tell my father I write,
he grunts and tells me that I should focus more on my studies.
But whenever someone asks him about his son, he never fails to mention that I write. He even follows my writing account on all the platforms.

Whenever I tell my father I write,
he grunts and tells me that I should focus more on my studies.
But whenever someone asks him about his son, he never fails to mention that I write. He even follows my writing account on all the platforms.

My mother is different. She doesn't just support me but also plays the role of a critic. No matter which piece of mine I show her, she always says "Very well written but you can do better." She also wants me to go around reciting my work.

My sister is just 9 years old so she doesn't know much about poetry. But she has heard enough to know that her brother writes some. She often tells me that maybe the reason my poems aren't good is because my poems don't rhyme like the ones she is taught at school.
