It is with a very heavy heart and a tearful eye that I pen these words..from very early on, I became your fan. You stood for so many things which I can't explain so well. When growing up, well into teens and there after, I always imagined my would be will have the same reserve and depth of character you portrayed on the screen.. This is not to mention, in real life too, you were in any way less .. Today I'm feeling as if a prop has fallen, that sustained my emotional self all along.. Your graceful personality shall for ever remain etched in the memory of countless, who loved you, adored you, admired you
Yours..  We wake up to a sad news. One of the greatest Indian actors, Dilip Kumar, is no more. He passed away today morning at the age of 98. Born Yusuf Khan in 1922 in Peshawar, now in Pakistan, he was known by the screen name Dilip Kumar once he joined Bollywood in the 1940s. He holds the record of winning the maximum number of Filmfare awards, winning the inaugural award and the best actor 8 times thereafter. He introduced the method acting technique to the Indian cinema.

Dilip Kumar was suffering from a long illness and complained of breathing issues today, when he was admitted to the hospital where he breathed his last. He is survived by his wife, Saira Banu, the popular actor from the 60s and 70s. #letters #ripdilipkumar #dilipkumar  #YourQuoteAndMine
