Words in excess Words in excess Our blessings don't come to us in installments, not even as a life time settlement but in bits and pieces, plastered on the surfaces we touch, like a kiss that lingers for an extra moment. It doesn't always shower on us during a life or death situation, not always in the form of grandparents placing their weathered hands on our heads, not always a contradiction or a saviour. But blessings are these words. Under these words I layer one below the other love, hate, jealousy, fear, distress. One below the other, just like this. I coat them with words, once again.
