Is difficult to decipher. Yet, I understand it to be joyous and happy under all circumstances and to realise our nature of true bliss. Good morning, writers! 😊 "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single minute before starting to improve the world." - Anne Frank Did you know? 🌸 Be it rich or poor, everyone sheds their ego outside the door of a gurudwara to help in cooking, serving, cleaning and other chores. And during a pandemic too, the kitchen of Bangla Sahib Gurudwara - one of the largest in Delhi - is still running, providing meals to the hungry across the city, irrespective of faith, creed and background. 😇 Starting with 40,000 meals a day, the kitchen ramped up to produce 80,000 meals and then 1 lakh. The authorities are now planning to serve close to 3 lakh meals a day. The gurudwara's kitchens are run with the help of 48 men who sleep at its guesthouse. To avoid risking their families from COVID-19 infections, these men haven't travelled to see their loved ones since March 25. They work 18-hour shifts in the kitchens, with bandanas tied over their noses and mouths.
