The monsoon rains.

As the droplets of rain start hitting the roof of his car, the chain of his thoughts got broken and he realized that it was raining outside. He fondly remembers that she used to love rains and would sit in her balcony, holding a cup of tea and murmuring old songs the whole day, but suddenly it dawned to him that she was no more.
(Read full in caption) He began driving towards the café where they met for the first time, it was raining, and he was cursing the rain because he was all drenched. It was a blind date for both, he had brought a red rose for her, not knowing what to expect. As soon as he entered the café, he dropped her a text and asked her where she was. She told him that she was wearing an Indian attire- a white dress along with a blue dupatta.

At first, he decided to leave instantly when he heard what she was wearing, but since it was raining outside, with ac blowing chilled air, he decided to stop because at that time he desperately needed a hot cup of tea and something warm to eat.

When he looked at her, he murmured to himself that she’s an average-looking girl with long and silky hair and he gave her the rose, to which she accepted with a broad smile on her face. Both of them were hesitating in initiating the conversation, but at last, he broke the ice by cursing the rains because, for him, rains were a nuisance, to which she politely replied that “she loved rains because no one will get to know whether you are crying while standing in the rain.”

This statement was a kind of setback for him, for he didn’t know how to counter this statement, but with time they started having a good conversation with each other. They talked about their lives, shared quite intricate details, and it seemed like they were long-lost friends who haven’t met each other for quite a long time.
