14/40 [Bad Poet's middle finger law] Thinking goo

14/40

[Bad Poet's middle finger law] Thinking good is something so basic in all human beings that it doesn't even mean anything. Everybody wants to look good, make tons of money, have fulfilling relationships, and live a good life in general. Everybody wants to be in a pleasant state of experience for as long as they live. But not many find themselves living a fulfilling life. Why is that? Let me tell you.

See, let's take an example from the fitness world. No one would deny having a physique like that of Cristiano Ronaldo. Ask any boy or man and he will tell you he'd love to look like that. People know looking like that would make them feel so much better about themselves. They even imagine looking healthier and fitter but they don't really do anything. They imagine the good stuff but it stays in their mind only. It never converts into action. Always remember this; action is what makes Ronaldo Ronaldo and action is what makes you you. It's not too hard to understand why some people thrive and some don't. It doesn't matter how sharp your mind is if no action springs out of it.

Mind is important, no doubt about it. But don't make it too important because it is the master of rationalisations. When I'm doing some intense workout, my mind often tries to convince me of taking a breather way too often but it's my duty to show it my middle finger when needed. Seriously, you should learn to show it your middle finger and see how your life transforms. Here I'd like to propound Bad Poet's middle finger law. According to Bad Poet's middle finger law:

"Your mind deserves your middle finger at least once every day."
