The emotions start the momentum of the snow rolling down along the avalanche track; fear and uncertainty beget even more fear until it reaches unreasonable levels. The goal in all of this is to minimize conflicting feeling to come out of the runout zone where the avalanche of insecurity dents , with all of our self-efficacy intact.
