I don’t know where I’m going , Moving from wax to

I don’t know where I’m going ,
Moving from wax to wane.
But your hands will still always search for me  only to find dust ,
brought by the wind before the rain.

You eyes will never catch my shadow again
That is lingering on your floor
Because you can’t hold beautiful things unless they are broken
I will move out in front of you
Will you please open that door?

You will yearn for my hair,
And how your fingers got lost
In the curls of the forest
That quenched your thirst .

You will yearn for my lips in hunger
You will miss how I taste
In the darkness when you look at the other side of the bed
You will realize it’s too late.

Sometimes in sleep
when you dive into the ocean
And find it difficult to breathe
You will find nobody who will kiss you and make you taste air.

Now when you bring flowers
You will have to keep it in the vase
The fragance will linger
But it will never bring back my scent.

You will never feel the light of joy
That I brought with me
Now you will turn blind
And forget how I taught you to see.

Your room now will be struck by silence
That once echoed my laughter
For my voice will be too far to reach you
And the walls only talk to each other
Of the woman you named me after.

Now you have to cross the bridges alone
Because you let me go. and asked me to find another ” home”. #splash2020 #nojotobbsr
