The Forgotten Dog. The Forgotten Dog.

Sitting quietly beneath the lamppost was Jugnu. A street dog waiting for passerbys, some of them who were familiar with his droopy eyes and an ever wagging tail.
They had always been nice to him and offered him biscuits or just plainly patted him on his head..
Even Raju the ragpicker was not to be seen for quite a few days.
His reliable partner and buddy.
He would leave early but never failed to return at their favorite haunt after selling off whatever he had collected.
Raju always had dinner with Jugnu and together they curled up and slept outside the shutters of a hardware shop.
