SOMETHING I LOOK AT-5 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Life is spent in dreaming and dreaming, only a few being realised making life a pathetic reality. Life is not shattered dreams, lost love, unforgotten past and deep melancholy. We miss life We miss those moments, the tiny loves and small gestures We miss those things, seemingly insignificant, the smile on a child's lips. his trifling demands and naughty looks Life unfolds itself. Sun shines, the river flows, flower blossoms. Life manifests its beauty. We do not see it We have a pair of jaundiced eyes, which only mirrors our self, our agony and apathy Life is not shattered dreams, battered past, romantic nihilism, or a burnt cigarette in the ashtray Life is complete, each moment of which, to be lived and relished. copyright@smrutiranjan 24.5.2015 ©Smruti Ranjan mohanty SOMETHING I LOOK AT-5 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Life is spent in dreaming and dreaming, only a few being realised making life a pathetic reality.
