For example, the sense of sight is Aadhyatma, the color of an object is Adhibhuta, and the consciousness that relates one to another is Adhidaiva. The same goes for other aspects of personality. Soul is consciousness itself. The basis of all these is the same. The futile debate as to whether or not the soul exists independently of all these will continue as long as they remain estranged from me – that is, from their own soul.
