.... I always wonder about the way stars shine. I have read somewhere, When you see a star shining, you are looking into the past'. Isn't it adorable that the light rays from the tiny twinkling star you see have travelled light years to reach your eyes? Isn't it amazing that someone travels so much distance so that you can see them? Smile when you see stars. They deserve your smile.

She was sitting on the sofa and switching channels on the television. The number of channels changed in a minute was more than the number of blinks made by her eyes. She didn't know what to watch and what she's watching. He entered the home with free hands. "I asked you to buy chocolates" she questioned him which made him to stand still as he has forgotten. He turned towards her with a puppy face. "You don't listen to me at all, right?" she asked him with her voice trying to be rude yet it's cute. He ran towards his bike to buy chocolates. He came back after nearly 15 minutes. She was still in the same place. He sat near her and gave her the chocolates. "I am in no mood to eat them. Keep it in fridge. I will have it later" she said and started walking towards their room. He whispered, "Don't know how many more years it would take to understand you".

He got a chance to see the calendar when he put the chocolates in the fridge. It dated 14th of December with a red dot over it. "My baby is in her period. How the hell did I forget this!" he started scolding himself. He was in the kitchen wondering what to do to make her feel good.

He heated water in a vessel and added Maggi masala. We expect Maggi to be ready within 2 minutes, but it took nearly 5 minutes. He placed the bowl of Maggi on a long plate. The remaining place of the plate were occupied by the chocolates he bought for her. He made an omelette. He folded it and placed over the bowl full of Maggi just because she loves eggs. "Love you", he wrote with tomato sauce at the corner of the plate. All set. He took the plate and was about to enter the room. But, before entering he took his mobile and played the song, "Appadi podu" from the Tamil film Ghilli, though they don't understand the language but love the music. They used to dance together laughing hard for this song. He entered the room with plate in his hand dancing.
