"I don't have time", Ankit said looking at his watch and walked away.
Kiara stood there, as still as a stone, watching Ankit hastily entering his lab.
"May I come in?" Ankit asked.
Taking her eyes up, she said, "Yes"
Ankit stood still. Everything is same - same eyes, same passion, same affection, not to mention, same charm.
"It was my fault. Give me a chance. I will live up to your expectations. It is tough I know.
"I have called off my marriage. I have convinced my family. It's all up to you. Come back please."
"Come back?", she asked with a smile. "I was not the one to leave. I tried hard to trust someone again, I started loving you as I was regaining my lost faith in love. How I was feeling, how can we cross our first ever difference?...I wanted to talk to you, sort all these out - together. But, it's ABOUT TIME, you see. You were so short of time then, that you didn't find the time to inform me about your engagement! And now I don't find this worthy enough to discuss and invest my time in. Time once gone is gone. And, so are my feelings for you", she poured her heart out politely enough not to hurt but assertive enough to drive her point home. She realized the power of time.
