//The tempestuous day

Thunderclaps hitting the town,
Scarcely lightening,
With clobbering rain drops,
Made this day an enthralling one.

Cont. In caption... //The tempestuous day

Thunderclaps hitting the town, scarcely lightening with clobbering rain drops, made this day an enthralling one.
For the people who are used to getting their skin burnt, who robs their faces with cotton clothes whenever they step out, who prefers to stay inside, to avoid the muddles; it was a different day. This day, they all were ready to face the sky and scream out their emotions.
The chill breeze gusted through the half-closed windows. Just a tick-tock sound, became more intense, as the rain overpowered. Dams and wells were looking after their only guest. Dogs and cats found shed under cars. And, I ran to get soused in rain.
The dripping branches of the trees were rushing to the forests. The dangling cloths were fleeing. I could discern the rapture of the florae out there. Children jumping up and down at a distant home. And, my prolonged wish of eating mud, got fulfilled. The petrichor, drove me. Good heavens!
With umbrella in one hand and mobile in the other hand, I was caught. Oh Lord, I was caught, by my neighbors. They were concerned about my health. Fortunately, I was allowed to sit and enjoy the seranade of my soul, the rain! The drops dripping down through the roof, splashing of waters and paper boats made this day. The sky was no more, plain. The rain lord, plastered it well.
How tempestuous this day was! And, most importantly, crispy vadas made this day more special.
