#OpenPoetry My Native Home Town

I have walked through the woods
With them circling and peering down at me
I have felt those slimy rocks under my feet
They tried to throw me into the swirling waters
I have felt the warmth of babies soft cheeks
While they sunbathed in early spring
I have inhaled the dust of a storm
While I walked the fields of summer
I have tried to catch the raindrop from the . roof
While I waded in knee deep water
I have jingled the sparkling glass around
To keep the beat of my feet on the ground
I have hummed the old movie tunes
While travelling in a jeep to the next town
I had done things I love to
But am no longer in my hometown. #NativeHometown #Nojoto #OpenPoetry
