*Durood is a way of attaining Allah's forgiveness and salvation from all sorrows, calamities and distress. Ubaaye Bin Ka'ab(R.A)says,I asked the Messenger of Allah,"Oh Allah's apostle,I send lot of Durood on you.How much time should I spend on Durood during my supplication? The Messenger of Allah replied,"As much as you want"I asked if one fourth of the time is good,he said,"As much as you want,but if you do more it is better for you."I Asked should I spend half the time, he said,"As much as you want,but if you do more it is better for you."I asked should I spend two third of the time,he said,"As much as you want,but if you do more it is better for you."I asked should I dedicate the whole time of my supplication for Salaat on you.The Messenger of Allah said,"This will be enough for all your sorrows and destitution and will be a basis for forgiveness of all your sins."(Tirmidhi) #durood
