By the window sat I And stare at the rain drops As they kissed the soil Away went I, in memory lane A fond memory Where rainy days used to be happy days Unaware of pain Unaware of sorrow Mother scolding never matters Father and grandparents always smiled at our mischief. Sometimes it used to be paper boat making day, Made from the papers torn out of books & notebooks It never matter to anyone Whether those were new or old. Sometimes it used to be "so called" fish catching day in the drain Which actually used to be tadpoles. And of course beatings and scoldings from mom after that. Mostly it used to be "dancing in the rain" day Where, except mom Others used to smile by watching us. And also a fearful season Where leeches were waiting for us To suck blood out of us. It was the time when we were kids, And world for us was fair and beautiful. #Collab & share what you usually do when it rains. #raindiary #YourQuoteAndMine Collaborating with YourQuote Baba
