Ghosts settle nicely in my soul. I feel the darkness’s subtle pull. Am I the master of my pain, or just another tool? The master of my mind made into a fool. Drain it all this sea of pain. Take away this demon in my brain. There’s more to me than than what you see. A well of potential that wants to be free. These songs of silence ring in my head. The follow me when I get out of bed. I’m not gonna roll over dead. I’ll make a weapon out of my dread. It’s not a delusion, not matter what you say. Just something I have to face every day. Just give me space I’ll be okay. I’m not so easy to waste away. Take this evil in my heart. Tear it apart before it leaves a mark. Peel the feelings away from my skin. If freedom is close let me catch it’s taste.
