When Sachin started his test cricket career in Pakistan in 1989, I was studying in my final year of Engg. In these 24 years, I finished my studies, embarked on my career, struggled, plodded & meandered along in my life while Sachin mastered the art of batting & ruled the cricketing world like an invincible emperor for most of those years (Continued in caption) Why did the story unfold like this? The common answer would be that he is the god of batting while the rest of us are mere mortals. The truth is that there is a Sachin in all of us but we have failed to identify him. We can become 'Sachin - tastic engineers, doctors, musicians, lawyers or even politicians (stretching it a bit here). Secondly nurture your craft with one pointed focus with the grace & guidance of your guru (coach). Many of us get prematurely busy painting larger than life portraits of success instead of striving for competence & excellence. Finally unleash your 'Sachin', gathering all the wisdom gained during the journey, letting loose its complete power.
