What can one write in such circumstances, saying I am fine and happy seems so mean, isn't it? The cyclone devastated the beautiful city of Kolkata and many other villages. People are losing jobs, suffering due to inadequate facilities, covid-19 is the biggest game changer. I write about what I did and how people like me, living in safe zones are managing their lives. But, the truth is, somewhere there is a fear inside. How things will get back to normal, when will children play freely in the parks, these things really bother me. I thank God but also pray for everyone's good health and life. A dialogue form the movie Thappad really caught me totally. Sometimes being right doesn't give happiness. And it made me feel so lighter. I think we keep saying I want to be happy, but one can't be so in all the situations. Happiness is not a destination. It is a persuit like others, being right, honest, selfless etc. If you are virtuous, you tend to be happy, but not vice versa. A lesson learnt, another day gone. Stay safe, just try being green and be healthy. Write the #lockdowndiary for #day53lockdown #YourQuoteAndMine Collaborating with YourQuote Baba
