The drop desiring the moon, seeks the trickle. And the trickle longs for the stream. The stream pines for the river, and the river for the ocean. While the ocean craves the cloud to reach the moon. Only to evaporate to the stratosphere to find the elusive moon in the calm lake below. #smimano

The drop desiring the moon, seeks the trickle. And the trickle longs for the stream. The stream pines for the river, and the river for the ocean. While the ocean craves the cloud to reach the moon. Only to evaporate to the stratosphere to find the elusive moon in the calm lake below. That's the flux of desire. A cycle life after life that results in the spectrum of the six arshadvargas: the manifestation of Kama (lust) in its indulgence, the explosion of Krodha (anger) in its denial, the exhibition of Lobha (greed) in its pleasures, the entanglement of Moha (attachment) in its addiction, the demonstration of Madha (pride) in its attainment, and the expression of Matsarya (jealousy) in its ownership. The only salvation from this vicious cycle of desire then, lies in the serene peace of contentment. When the artist steps back accepting his final stroke. Oh! Mind, what does thou seek? Merely chasing desire in a state of rush is indeed as futile as trying to capture the fluttering butterfly. Be still, and you shall realize that it's already yours. You're not the puny drop, but the moon already, as a reflection of the infinite within your soul; you the immortal spark, this cosmos thy mirror!
