This was a habit, a cycle, a self initiated process of undesirable feelings. Though being a peace loving person, he knew the things which can trigger increase in heart rate and then a series of thoughts which made him feel unworthy and unwanted. Generally he was cool as ice, not too serious about most of the things around him. But there was something in that experience which made him text her again at uncertain intervals. The desires in heart that stay for years can anytime be triggered again. When similar stimulus sees it's existence through our sences, similar web of neurones fire.
