A time of joy, a time of grace, Eid comes to bring a smile to our face, A celebration of faith and love, Blessings raining down from above. We gather together, hearts aglow, To pray, to feast, to share and to show, Our gratitude for all we have, And to remember those who don't have. We wear our best, our brightest attire, To honour this day, this moment to inspire, And in our eyes, there's a twinkle of light, As we welcome each other with hugs so tight. The sweet scent of cooking fills the air, As we feast on treats beyond compare, And we share with neighbours, friends and kin, Spreading happiness and goodness within. From morning prayers to evening delight, We cherish each moment, every sight, And as the day comes to an end, We thank the Almighty, our hearts on the mend. For Eid is a time of renewal and hope, A time to let go of fears and cope, With a renewed faith in all that's good, And a determination to do what we should.
