Social media used to be my escape from real life. I would forget the pain for a while. It turned out to be an effective drug. Until, I got addicted to it. And now, I’m lost. I find solace no- where. Hurt is out there and here too. The only difference being, a social media friend can manipulate you behind a pretty screen and abandon you any- time without a need for any explanation or feel remorse to have done so. They move on like they had just had a wonderful encounter with a fellow passenger on a train and now it was time to disembark, experience a new town and then board a flight to fresh insights.
