When a desire is strongest as well the greatest and you are confident enough you deserve it by putting your zen percentage, ideally it should be fulfilled. You might be literally waiting for a dream come true moment. But when that doesn't happen, you would become clueless about the process. I had the same doubt for years. When somebody call it a luck factor, I knew it was obviously not. In practice, few reach their dreams early, few get theirs very delayed. So is it just a time factor? But still the answer remains pretty same ; of course, not. After experiencing the worst of mine, after witnessing the worst of my counterpart, finally I define the magnitude as the decider. I meant the qualitative magnitude, don't get confused with quantitative. Reason is, in order to achieve the greatest goal of a lifetime, you need several intermediate milestones to be completed and each one of them could be qualitatively big enough to compare with the actual goal itself. So the time taken is even recursively proportional to the qualitative magnitude.
