Dedicated to my maternal grandfather There was a time in my childhood when I used to visit my maternal grandparents every summer. They live in a nearby village about 80 km from my city
This is of the time when I was a kid and my grandpa would take me to the patio, a patio with a serene view of a dried out river down and giant trees a house made of old times of electricityless nights (all thanks to the govt of that time)
That was also the same electricityless night my grandpa was narrating a story of a brave heart sparrow and how she fed her hatchlings. I was staring the stars and tears flew down my 10 years old cheeks on how a little creature made it through.
Fast forward to 2018:
I was again sitting in the patio at dusk. I was there till the time of evening stars start to be visible clearly.
The night was not electricityless.
There was no grandpa and there were not many stars in the sky....
Except for one.. shining in my eyes
