ॐ कूष्माण्डायै नम: वन्दे वांछित कामर्थे चन्द्रार्घकृत शेखराम्। सिंहरूढ़ा अष्टभुजा कूष्माण्डा यशस्वनीम्॥ On Navratri's fourth day, we pray, To Goddess Kushmanda, in a special way, She birthed the universe with laughter's grace, In darkness, she created the cosmic space. Ashtabhuja, with arms eight, In her hands, treasures and powers await, Rosary, bow, and a lotus fair, A nectar-filled pot, her divine care. With a discus, mace, and a bead in hand, She blesses her devotees, a wondrous land, On a lion, she takes her regal stance, Her love for pumpkins, a divine romance. In the sun's realm, her abode so bright, Her brilliance outshines the day and night, In all directions, her radiance beams, In every corner, she reigns supreme. Worship Kushmanda with devotion's art, She heals ailments, sorrow departs, Longevity, fame, strength she imparts, On this auspicious day, in our hearts.
