Everyone was aiming for one goal: the fourth rule. Achieving this goal required serious contemplation; it was a challenge for being just the right fool. One had to be neither too logical for being mistaken as dinner, nor purely senseless for being appointed to follow the Mr. Idiocy for a whole dreadful year, just the indifferent, brainless soul with the shittiest existence of an year, who fit nowhere, neither the Royal dinner, nor be declared a Royal fool. That poor guy was covered with indecision, whether his existence was meaningful, or just a test from God. But is it not typical, to perform a talent show and not uncover your best? It certainly is.
