"I was really worried that you wouldn't have the courage to see me marry someone else. But I'm actually grateful for that," She expressed with a concerned expression.
"You looked absolutely stunning. I couldn't take my eyes off you," he confessed.
"Do you hate me?" she asked, peering into his kind eyes.
"For marrying someone else?" he replied with a slight smile on his lips.
"No, for leaving you like this," she tearfully admitted.
"There are moments when I wish I could hate you, but you're such an amazing person that even when I feel hate, it quickly transforms into love," his eyes welled up with tears too.
"Promise me that you'll marry someone else and find happiness," she pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
"I promise to find happiness. I have countless memories of you, of us. This lifetime is too short. I'll wait for you to be with me again. I'll wait for 'us'," he responded bravely.
"No, you should marry another girl soon. I know you'll make her feel special every day. You know what gifts to buy for her. You're so lovable; you know how to love and be loved. Don't waste that love within you. Let another girl, like me, experience heaven in the embrace of your love," her voice remained full of affection, further increasing his worries.
"I will certainly marry. Time will pass, and I won't hold onto you, though your memories will always hold onto me. I will find a girl like you, hold onto her, and she will love me too. All my worries will vanish when I have a daughter in your name," he smiled and assured her.
"Won't you ask me why I married to my parents choice?" she inquired.
"How could I, when I know the reason you broke up with me us because you wanted to be loyal to our parents? You're a kind-hearted girl, scared to hurt anyone," He said with a broken smile.
"I've hurt you more than anyone else," she sobbed.
"It's okay, because you love me more than anyone else. Promise me you won't think about me and hurt yourself," he consoled her, seeking her promise.
"I will think about you, but you won't hurt me. You're so amazing that I love you in a way that you could never hurt me," she responded.
"I was so worried that you wouldn't have the courage to marry someone else, but I'm glad you did. I wish you a happy married life!" he said, with a smile on his lips and a tear in his eye, bidding her his final farewell.
