the bully goes home. drunk. shouting. intimidating everyone. threatening the peace. the bully lays down on his favorite spot--his hammock. starts screaming expletives. the world listens. the bully shouts. nonsense verbose, coming out. in between expletives, he calls out. calls out to people he loves. the bully calls out to his wife, his daughter, his grandchild. he calls out, even, to neighbors. no one answers him. the bully tries his best to scare everyone; yet, his voice means something else; if one cares to listen, deeply. the bully, drunk and weary. tired and lonely, he tries to get attention. he masks everything with vileness; yet, i hear his pain.
