I am wasted for you turned 18 after first week of January. Every year 1000s of votes get wasted just because the elegibility term that one must have attained age of 18 by January 1. It causes wastage of votes as people who turn 18 in around first 8 months have waited more than those turned 18 in last 4 months. This causes unbalanced voting. Say a person born in December, he gets to vote early than that of February or September. What is the point of right to vote when we can't cast our first vote at the age of 18 or even 19.
