Hi,
Even a 'kabadi wala' is better than you is a common refrain I hear.
Can't she be more polite and say you are a magpie or a squirrel.
But she is not far away from truth as I am indeed like that only.
Throwing away things is just not me.
The last thing I remember parting away from ( throwing away is as I told is just not me )
was perhaps donkey's years back.
I still remember the jeans my wife made me give away.
Ohh had it was still with me it would have been the perfect fashion statement with torn knees and rugged looks.
You should stop purchasing new things is another refrain from the ever grumbling frau.
But how can I not.
How can I not buy a new pair of shoes those lovely Brogues or Wellingtons or Loafers when I see them.
Latest pair I bought were a pair of stunning Oxford shoes.
Those marvelous pieces in patent black leather with their simple elegance that were missing from my collection of 43 pairs of shoes I possess.
But is it reason enough for her to grumble.
I guess you can't change some people so I will let it be as it is.
See you soon in my new shoes.
