It’s funny how we live in a society where the family needs to approve the love two people share for each other, alongside the caste they are assigned to which only exists in their fucked up belief system. It’s a sad truth everyone has to face at point in their life.

A close friend of mine has fallen prey to this and is devastated. It got me thinking that the caste system started way back to divide and rule and also was classified according to occupation one did. In today’s society a priest’s son doesn’t necessarily go in the same line of work, same with a carpenter’s or businessman’s son. So I don’t see a reason why people still hold on to identities that are madmade and purely that exists only in imagination.

There’s growth only in union. As long as we are distinct from the truth that we are all living the same life, wanting the same things and feeling the same way, life is going to be miserable for each one of us.
