White Just stand in the rain Until your tears are hidden, And your bloodshot eyes Have calmed down a bit. The shivers on your body Have gone numb, And the raindrops feel heavier Than your thoughts. Just stand in the rain Until the drought of emptiness Has gone drenched, Until the freezing downpour Starts feeling warm, Until the sharp stones Stop poking your skin And don't hurt you anymore. Just stand in the rain Until you realize where you're at, Don't move before that first sneeze, Until you see a reason to live And how precious your life is, Until you collapse with an ice-cold body And no one holds you When you learn the ultimate truth. ©Anagha Ukaskar #rainy_season #rain #poem #Poetry #Nojoto #nojotoenglish
