So you hate Yazid for fighting Husayn but love Mua

So you hate Yazid for fighting Husayn but love Muawiyah for fighting Ali? Forgetting that Yazid was appointed as Khalifatul-Muslimin by Muawiyah. Imam Husayn refused to accept this batil appointment and preferred death rather than accept Muawiyah's appointment. The appointment was also in complete violation of the agreement with Imam Hasan. It is for these reasons that Sunni Imams refused to include Muawiyah among the "Rightly Guided Caliphs".

Is it not amazing that those who advocate staying silent about Mu'awiya still praise him by saying 'Sayyiduna' and 'radiAllahu'anho'. Where is the silence?

Secondly for the guys who tell me to focus on myself and not get involved in this, I'm sure you all mean well. But unfortunately, there is a double standard here too. All of you happily curse or at least perform tafsiq of Yazid bin Mu'awiya even though the tragedy of Karbala happened hundreds of years ago, but the moment I mention what his father did in Siffin or the fact that he ordered for the cursing of Sayyiduna Imam Ali عليه السلام, I'm asked to remain 'silent' because 'it's a thing of the past'.

Let me be clear, I have nothing personal against Mu'awiya or those who praise him. My allegiance is with Imam Ali which means I cannot praise his enemy.
