After watching that horrific scene of the stabbing in front of their eyes, the whole station was living under fear, for they had arrested him and brought him to the station but they were even afraid of going near him and there was sitting inside the cabin of the superintendent with no sign of regret on his face, motionless, expressionless, he was gazing at the walls past 4 hours without speaking to anyone or even asking for a lawyer and this had puzzled the whole department. He was sitting there like a stone. (Read full in caption) They felt for the need and called a psychiatrist also because they wanted to go deep inside his mind to know why he had committed such a horrendous crime. Dr. Patil tried hard but even he failed to talk with him because no words were coming out of his mind and all he used to do was to gaze at the doctor. It was mind-boggling for everyone for they were unable to understand how to make him talk. After few hours of unsuccessful interrogation, all he said was- I need a pen and paper, and please escort me to my cell. At first, they couldn't understand the reason behind this request, but they felt that they can't deny such a petty request. All night he was scribbling on paper and didn't sleep even for a moment, it seemed that he was trying to express himself via words. In the morning, when the inspector came to his cell to escort him to court, it was a situation of calamity for them as they found him dead, the reason being that he rolled his tongue inside his mouth and this had stopped the flow of oxygen in his throat. The news spread like a group of flies as media had reached on the spot within few hours and they were interrogating the officials about his death and it was getting difficult for the superintendent to answer so many questions. After half an hour, he retired to his cabin, removed the lid from the glass of water and gulped down in one motion, and began resting on his chair. A constable came in his room teary-eyed, holding a piece of paper in his hand and put it on the table, and told the superintendent that it was the letter by the maniac. The very first line of the letter was- Never love someone in your life, for they can shatter you from inside and as he began reading the letter, he began realizing the reason for the murder. Their marriage was an arrange one but still, he tried to make her happy because he loved her a lot, but she never loved him back, he tried everything in his capacity to fulfill her needs but still, she remained unsatisfied. She used to mock him all the times for his looks and financial status but he never complained about her nature and remained content with it The moment which shattered him from inside was when he had read the text messages of her wife to an unknown person and after reading the entire chat, he realized that she was having an affair with someone else. He couldn't understand how to react, all her taunts were echoing in his mind and those messages were flashing in front of his eyes. Whatever he did was out of rage, he was sorry that he had committed such a dreadful act but he was happy that he was free from his cage and it had to end on a sad note.
