*It is traditional to say "Bismillah"before eating. Umr Bin Abu Salma(R.A) says,',I was under the training of the Messenger of Allah from my childhood.While eating,my hand used to turn around (the curry).The Messenger of Allah told me,"Son!Say Bismillah and eat with your right hand from the front."(Bukhari) *If one forgets to say Bismillah before beginning to eat then one must recite the following supplication. Aisha(R.A) says that the Messenger of Allah said,"When a person starts to eat,he should say Bismillah and if he forgets to say it before beginning to eat then he should say,"In the name of Allah,in the beginning and in the end"(Tirmidhi). #eating
