![कह रही आज जो, इक अनकही कहानी है;
कि ख़्वाबों की, हकीक़त में, इक ख़ूबसूरत बस्ती बसानी है!
जहाँ हर परिंदा आज़ाद होगा;
जहाँ इंसानों का मख़लूक से रिश्ता ख़ास होगा;
जहाँ रुसवा हो जो कोई जानवर, तो हर इंसान नासाज़ होगा;
जहाँ ख़ुदा को भी अपनी ख़ालिक़ी पर, बेइंतहा नाज़ होगा;
जहाँ दहलीज के परे, तरजीह पहले बेज़ुबानों की होगी;
जहाँ हर तराने में मौसिक़ी, पहले रहनुमानों की होगी;
जहाँ बदले में वफ़ादारी के, खुशियों की मेहरबानी होगी;
जहाँ इंसानी दुनिया अधूरी, बिन इन बेज़ुबानों होगी;
फिर हर इंसान की होगी वही, जो आज मेरी ज़ुबानी है,
कि ख़्वाबों की, हकीक़त में, इक ख़ूबसूरत बस्ती बसानी है!
