I am dying. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this before, but seriously, I am dying... I am dying. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this before, but seriously, I am dying.

Now don't think I'm going through some kind of serious illness, because I'm not. Health-wise, I'm doing fine; no trauma, no accident, or any life altering heartbreak. I'm just dying while I breathe, just like you are.

Most of us need a severe illness to remind us that we are not here forever. When someone close to us gets too sick to last another year we suddenly become soft and tender towards them. But I'm asking why do we treat others differently? Why all the petty fights and nonsense arguments with other hoomans who are also going to die one day? We treat ourselves and others as if we are immortal. It's unbelievable, the ignorance and indifference we have in our minds.

In my interviews you must have seen me asking people the questions about death. The idea is to make them and myself remember the most fundamental truth about our existence– death. This is important because today seems like just another day but the day we die will also be a today. That day will also look like just another day and if we are not prepared, we'll gonna have some trouble because we think we're here forever.
