if Lockdown Diaries can record the number of times i climbed up the stairs to Stationary Section and gift a paint brush for every "aww" and a charcoal pencil for every "omg-s" i would be artistically rich now. i almost bumped my head into a Worker's tummy while i bent to examine the way Pocket notes were stacked. i grumbled when Maggi price shot up to 12 from 10. every other day i prompt "in those days..." realising 1/2 a litre of Milk once cost 15 and now it's 25.

never do i brood over why a paint brush which can be broken with the simplest of eases costs so much that i cannot afford one every week. i merely trace the lines over the sizes and wonder why i'm preferring flat brushes over round ones these days. i might have watched a thousand tutorials on how to hold a Fine Arts Paint Brush but my hands don't seem to pay attention. if i build a house, i'll make it a home for Foreign brushes and order closets for Indian Brushes. i'll arrange glass bowls and decentralize them accordingly-- for "Before Painting" and "After Painting" uses. that'll be my very own museum where i'll invite only those who cannot fathom what's all that so that they don't put all evil eyes on my collection. i'll take care of these beauties as if i gave birth to them all by myself. adopted they maybe, still they deserve parental care, don't they?

before all that, i'll go entice my Amma to get me White Acrylic paint bottle and Camlin Synthetic Brush-- size 5. happy dreaming!
