The Guardians Of Democracy

In the dance of democracy, each step is cast,
By the citizens, whose roles are vast.
Guardians of the future, holders of fate,
In their hands, the nation's state.

Awake and aware, they watch and learn,
Discerning truth, as tides turn.
Informed and engaged, a powerful force,
Guiding the ship of state on its course.

With rights in hand, and duties in heart,
In the electoral saga, they play their part.
A vote not just a paper's weight,
But a declaration of what they advocate.

In queues they stand, patient and strong,
For the right to speak, to right the wrong.
Their voice, a beacon in the night,
Guiding the country towards the light.

Elections come, and elections go,
But the citizens' vigil, forever in tow.
For in their choice, the nation's reflection,
In their will, democracy's direction.

So let us honor this sacred call,
To vote, to serve, to stand tall.
For in each citizen's thoughtful selection,
Lies the heart of the election's perfection.
