Dear all. We are joshi family.. Rati & Naval Joshi. I am sure some of you know us... Our son kabir (4 yrs old), just a month back has been diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma cancer. He is fighting strongly through chemo and standard treatment. Life has just taken a 180 degree turn and our lives have changed..the shock of something so rare happening to a 4 year old is difficult to absorb as parents. for long term survival he needs extremely costly medical treatment, some of them , not available in india costing approx 2Cr..., like, # Anti GD2 dinutuximab beta therapy.. # DFMO drugs .. # Participation in Car T (GPC2 / GD2 ) trials in US.. # proton therapy radiation.. The overall treatment cost in US is about 12 Cr, *and as first goal, we plan to collect 2 Cr by Mid Feb.* Based on kabir's response to chemotherapy, there may be requirement for treatment abroad, for that we will again request all to contribute and spread the campaign to reach 12 Cr..
