Once in the midst of valley ,sitting alone on a rooftop with the hands holding the pieces of glass just like that of the shattered pieces of the soul that she witnessed ...How they treated her ,what they said at her back .she mesmerized everything,her tears ,her trauma and most importantly the heart that lost the connection with the people who used to be the chaos of life ..Drops of blood was still shedding from the palm and suddenly a feeling of sympathy came in her mind ...A glimpse of the good old days ...AHH! then suddenly it vanished like that of the heavy blood flow after putting an ointment to it..The scars of the trauma still lingers similar to the scars of healing wounds...Some words still reverberate pushing her into a stage of desolation. It was all about a dark windy night.My heart was pondering with fear ,my whole body was tempering ,knowing nowhere to go..Screams in my throat got frozen .I suddenly woke up by keeping my blanket aside ,tears were rolling down from my eyes ..In the midst of darkness I saw a glimpse of my soul being woken up..I suddenly heard a voice ..It was like a very harsh scold as if someone trying to say "Stand up and fight ,stand up and fight!!!These words were like the catalyzing agents for me...Everything came back to normal.The only thing that remained was the scolding which left a deep imprint..I still wonder was that my own self being tired of all the worldly affairs and trying to raise me up to fight or it was just an illusion of my mind ? ©ARIBAH IRSHAD KHAN #thelunarcycle
