MISUNDERSTOOD

Since my very childhood, I am thoroughly raised with the widespread concept of Socially Ideal Girl - a trap woven for a particular gender, ironically for the proper balance, they say it. As far as I see, all I can draw is for being balanced, it needs to be equal. I remember when I was a kid, I was consistently taunted by few of my close ones for being the way I am, for being a dark-complexioned fearless child who plays with boys all the time and never hesitates to ask "WHY?" whensoever she needs. They were some of the points my personality has which were lately termed as red alert notifications , as I belong to a kind of channel which is most appreciated and accepted when mute. Days passed fast enough and my hormones started hitting me pretty well, so well that the last day my father hugged and adored me came and went without even updating me, I guess almost 10 years ago. Further, while I walking through the lane of the hypocrite, ruthless and brutal but real world, I felt judged, quoted, criticized, humiliated and what not for not having the perfect body-type, perfect skin colour and for standing out for myself filled with flaws which almost everyone has. I met a lot of people, some were ridiculous, some faked, some talked about all cool stuffs of gender equality, equal rights to question and all but ended up saying "Even if we know it's wrong, what can we do!", and the little ones that still believe that efforts matter more than results are somewhere trying to make a point whenever they could, like me , struggling to make one here. It isn't a letter full of complaints about what are my losses being a girl, but an emotionally draining thought of WHY is it so!

"Why do I or any other girl has to increase the inches of our skirts suddenly when puberty comes?"
"Why do I or any other girl is asked to shut up while the decision making process regardless of house or work?"
"Why do we directly questioned on our character for being not how we're supposed to be?"
"Why do we have to loose the parental caressness, love, adoring, trust, warm hugs, understanding, closeness and nevertheless free-to-share-anything conversations?"
"Why do I or any other girl is held answerable to all the bullshits of this freaking double standard society and it's peeps?"
"Why do we have to lose something or someone in every step of our life just because who we are?"

I genuinely miss every feeling, everything and everyone whom I've lost just to be easily absorbed. I really feel alone all the time because even though they pretend to, they don't get me and my losses and my questions. I decided to not stay quiet and asked so I am pictured to be rebellious, my complaints turned into allegations, my go-throughs get interrogated and I am kindly assassinated as of no worth to live and open-up just because I denied to be the ordinary.
I am mistaken in all the galleries I've walked through, in all the frames I've tried to fit in, by all the people who were meant to understand me and in all the aspects I should've been understood.

I am MISUNDERSTOOD.

FIVE FEET APART

Cystic fibrosis" and "B cepacia" , sounds quite unfamiliar and difficult to utter. Further, what happens when a CFer falls for a patient of B cepacia whose drug trials are not working?
While we all are busy cursing our lives for what we haven't , there are people who are literally borrowing breathes to survive one more day. It's a fact that this movie is a just a 1 hour 52 seconds love story of two people who have a so called life full of medicines, hospital atmos, finite place to roam, finite people to see, finite emotions to be felt and heartbreakingly finite number of breathes to inhale. Six feets apart was the rule meant to be followed and guess what, they stole something from the thief - the LIFE itself in return. In their words, "One Fucking Foot" to make it "FIVE FEET APART". It is important to feel whatever you feel and confess it, show it , express it no matter what. Life is too short to be controlled. Let love make it a beautiful span rather than a small span. Love freely cause everyone deserves to love and to be loved. At the end , you might have to let go . But when you love someone, you just love someone. Let yourself love and learn to let it go. Value what you have, praise it. Appreciate love . Appreciate whoever loves you. Live before it's too late to live❤️ #five_feet_apart
